Tourism Included
Not only is Australia a haven for sports lovers, but from a tourism perspective it is one of the world’s premier destinations. Some of the tourism highlights of your Aussie class include: the incomparable Great Barrier Reef, the oldest rainforest on the planet Daintree National Park, Sydney Harbour Cruise, Aboriginal Culture, wildlife, beaches, and so much more!
Some of the tourism highlights of your Aussie class include:
- The Great Barrier Reef: Selected a World Heritage Site in 1981, the Great Barrier Reef has been labeled one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and is a coral reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 3,000 kilometers (1,600 miles) over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometers (133,000 sq mi). The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from outer space and is the world's biggest single structure made by living organisms. It supports a wide diversity of life and will be a highlight of your Down Under Adventure.
- The Daintree National Park: A pristine tropical rainforest that was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1988 has existed continuously for more than 110 million years, making it probably the oldest existing rainforest on the planet. You’ll also take a cruise on the Daintree River where you will most likely see crocodiles in the wild and enjoy a guided rainforest tour onboard an amphibious USA WWII Army Duck.
- A Sydney Harbour Cruise: No trip to Australia is complete without cruising the Sydney Harbour! It is known for its natural beauty, and in particular, as the location of the iconic Sydney Opera House & Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Harbour was the location of the first European settlement in Australia and has continued to play a key role in the history and development of the city of Sydney.

- Aboriginal Culture: Indigenous Australians are distinguished as either Aboriginal people or Torres Strait Islanders, who currently together make up about 2.6% of Australia's population. It is thought that the Indigenous Australians may very well be the oldest surviving culture of mankind! You’ll learn a little about Aboriginal traditions, myths and legends and enjoy a powerful and exciting traditional dance, watch a spear throwing demonstration & learn how to throw a boomerang.
- You’ll get up close & personal with some Aussie wildlife as you can cuddle a koala & pet kangaroos (and get great photos doing it) as well as see an array of interesting animals native to Australia. A little known fact is that about 33% of the world’s animal species are native to Australia! Our classes include stops at either: Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary or Wild World.
- Amazing beaches, including but not limited to the world famous Surfers Paradise Beach which enjoys a sunny sub-tropical climate and a year-round festive atmosphere...PLUS A WHOLE LOT MORE!!!!
So why not join us in Australia where the world is your classroom!
